Sad news. My mother Wini passed away in her home on April 3 in Holmdel NJ, 98 years old. Because of the danger of traveling to New Jersey due to the corona virus, I managed things from here, and she was cremated April 4. I did spend Christmas with her in New Jersey. She was buried in the little town of Hortonville NY, a lovely little cemetery, next to her father, mother, brother and sister.
Cancelled. Swimming lessons so no preparing for one of my bucket list items... scuba diving!
Cancelled: Air travel. No going to Las Vegas to see the Cirque de Soleil Beatles show.
Cancelled. No Kruger Academy in May with Lauren from Florida and Robbie from New Zealand.
Cancelled. June Viking river cruise down the Rhein River from Basel to Amsterdam. At a stop in Koblenz Germany I would have met up with some distant Dickescheid relatives (my maiden name). Maybe next year. Click here for a 360 degree tour of the boat.
Ron had a hip replacement and recently took a bad spill and dislocated his right shoulder. I had my cataract operations.

New rescue, Elsie, 6 months old.
Sadly, we had to put our 16 year old cat Willy to sleep on Nov. 23.
There is a company called Heart in Diamond, and I had some of mother's ashes made into a man-made diamond, so she is with me all the time.
